I completely disagree with Entertainment Weekly that Newhart, the Bob Newhart Show spin-off had the best series finale “ever.” I’d say it was the most “WTF” finale ever. A finale should reward the fan/viewer for their years of viewership, rather than telling the fan/viewer that the last eight years was JUST A DREAM!
How can one think that “Newhart” tops the iconic MASH finale?
